Ingredients
- 3 Spring Onions
- 500g Pork Mince
- 2 Tbsp K-Pop Dust
- 1 Tbsp Light Soy Sauce
- 1 Tbsp Sesame Oil
- 2 tsp Fish Sauce
- 1 Tbsp Rice Wine Vinegar
- 24 Gyoza/dumpling wrappers
- Olive oil or a neutral oil for frying
Directions
- Prepare the dumpling mix: In a large bowl, combine 2/3 of the spring onion (reserve some for garnish), pork mince, K-Pop Dust, soy sauce, fish sauce, rice wine vinegar, and sesame oil. Mix well until sticky and evenly seasoned.
- Assemble the dumplings: Place a wrapper in your palm.Spoon about 1 heaped teaspoon of dumpling mix into the centre.Then SMASH by spreading the mix out to form a thin layer all over the top side of the wrapper.
- Fry: Heat oil in a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat.Place dumplings in the pan, leaving space between each.Use a spatula to gently press each dumpling down. Cook for about 4 minutes until the pork is cooked through then flip and cook for a further 1 minute until the bases are crisp and golden.
- Serve: Plate hot with your choice of dipping sauce. Sprinkle with extra K-Pop Dust and the reserved spring onion if desired. Also great topped with some crunchy chilli oil for extra heat.
