MAKE YOUR OWN BACON AT HOME!

When I first heard of making bacon at home I thought it sounded complicated, tedious and time consuming….and then I did it. It’s none of those things, PLUS you get an amazing end product that is in your control AND tastes 100% better than bought bacon.

The cure is made with coconut sugar and brown sugar, along with black pepper to give you a delicious slightly sweet with a savoury finish bacon. It also provides a great jumping off point if you want to get creative and add other flavours such as fennel seeds, a splash or bourbon or maple syrup.

Our pack of cure will allow you to make 18Kg of bacon at home, complete with detailed instructions.

You don’t need a smoker to make bacon, although it is nice, an oven will work just fine.
