A taste of Bahia, Brazil

Bahia Barrels is a unique, aromatic Brazilian style seasoning that grabs you from the first shake. It has a medium level of heat that brings a lovely warmth and zest to whatever you're cooking.

It's a natural match for white proteins like chicken, fish and pork, but don't be afraid to use it on steak too. Try it on chicken wings, fish tacos, a Brazilian style chicken stew, flash fried calamari, chicken burrito bowls, pork cutlets or as a straight up steak seasoning.

So why Bahia Barrels? The seasoning style comes from Bahia in the north east of Brazil, known there as tempero baiano, a seasoning native to the region. Barrels is a surfing term for the tube formed inside a breaking wave, and riding the barrel is one of the most exhilarating parts of surfing, much like watching the waves break is one of our favourite parts of living on the coast.

Australian owned and made, family run and blended in small batches on the Surf Coast. All natural with no added MSG, no refined sugars, no preservatives and no additives, and gluten free with no gluten detected during lab testing.

No anti-caking agents, should the contents clump just shake the container to loosen. Avoid using over steaming pots or dishes to avoid moisture getting in the shaker.

A. Free shipping on orders over $80. For orders under $80, we offer $8 flat rate shipping for standard post delivery and Australia Post express for an additional fee.

 

Q. How long does it take for an order to be dispatched?

A. Unless otherwise stated on our website we aim to get orders in the mail to you within 2 business days. Most orders are processed either the same day or the day after depending on the time of ordering. We love fast shipment of orders when we order something online, so that is the service we aim to provide to you too.

 

Q. Do you ship internationally?

A. Yes we can ship internationally to some regions, please check on the website it your region is available. Shipping is charged at Australia Posts rates and is by weight. We can not track international shipments with great accuracy.
